In March of 2023 Bladen Disaster Recovery Team and the North Carolina Office of Resiliency and Recovery formed a partnership to serve residents in Bladen County currently in the ReBuildNC application process. These are residents who suffered damage to their homes due to Hurricanes Matthew and Florence. Our partnership allows us to complete temporary, necessary repairs to homes while homeowners wait for more permanent solutions. The goal is to keep people in their homes, safely.

We are so thankful for this opportunity to continue serving in our County, 5 years after Hurricane Florence. Most grant funding has ceased for disaster recovery due to Hurricane Florence. This partnership allows us to continue our work in our County for the many who still have damage to their homes.
